The 'Normadie Apartments' also known as the International Savins Society (I.S.S.) Apartments was built in 1924 on a grand scale. It featured large, angled apartments with interesting configurations that assured that no two apartments on the same floor were alike. With 76 apartments on six residential floors, it had a generous thirty servants’ quarters, a high ratio for that era.
