The Park Hotel (Guoji fandian), designed by Ladislaus Hudec in Art-Deco style, was built in 1932-1933 and completed in 1934. The hotel (83,8m) was the highest building in Shanghai in 1930s, with 22 floors and over 200 rooms and suites. The top floor featured a night club with a retracting roof where one could dance under the stars.To the keft of the Park Hotal, the Grand Theater. On the left hand side of the picture, the grand stand of the race course.
