描述	In its own words, "this site attempts to give a feel for the world of Old Shanghai through a hyperlinked collage of words and images". It offers a combination of images, texts ans maps on pre-1949 Shanghai, including a complete full-text reproduction of H. Pott's book, A Short history of Shanghai published in 1928. These "Tales of Old Shanghai" verges sometimes on "Shanghai nostalgia". Yet it offers a very interesting set of various documents. There is no indication as to who is in charge of the site's design, development, and maintenance. The site is copyrighted by "Eastern web services".
