注文	The Hongkong & Shanghai Bank (滙豐銀行 - Huifeng yinhang - HSBC) opened its Shanghai branch in 1865. It moved into its own building, designed by the architect William Kidner, on a site next to the Maritime Customs, in 1875. The modern building was completed in 1923. (Frank King et al., History of the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, I: 94, 255. Date: The Hongkong & Shanghai Bank has the later addition on the front, which makes it c.1900 or later.
