注文	The firm was established in 1870 under the name of Geo. Barnet & Co. C.m. Dyce joined the firm and became a partner in 1877. In 1884 he took over management and changed the name to Dyce & Co. While the firm had been concerned by the import of Manchester goods and export of rwa silk, in 1895 the firm bought a large silk filature called the "Sin Chong" and started manufacturing.
