Rules and conditions for the reproduction of photographs and maps
All documents are available free of charge as they appear on the Virtual Shanghai platform. If used on another web site, we shall appreciate proper credit.
While we are glad to make these materials available to all Internet users, we are not a “service provider” for individual users, nor a research service for personal queries.
Duplication of photographic and cartographc materials
Virtual Shanghai has entered a phase of thorough overhaul that is going to mobilize the energy of the team for many months to come. We shall give full priority to this task that entails various strings of development on line and off line. During this period, which will extend at least until December 2012, we shall not provide any kind of materials (photographs, maps, etc.) in high resolution. We cannot afford the time required to attend to such queries. Exceptions will be made only for partner scholars and institutions with which we have established long standing relations of collaboration.
